Very sad news this week with the passing of Brian Kavanagh from Camross in County Laois.
Condolences to wife Margaret son Raymond and all the family.
Brian was a founder member of South London Gaels with Sean Maguire John Cormack and Michael Maher. This young team went on to make history with his son Raymond playing a big part winning the minor county title in 2002.
Sean Treacy's won the double that day winning minor and Senior. Brian served as selector with both teams and was a major sponsor of both teams.
We will be having a minutes silence for Brian before County Senior Hurling Final this Sunday.
May Brian Rest In Peace
