It is with regret and sadness that we learned of the passing of Eamon Sherlock.

We post these quotes belatedly, extracted from his Eulogy as read by his brother Liam.

“Big man, big hearted, big brother, gentle giant, son, Dad, “McGyver”

A citeog, a defender, an enforcer, would go through a wall for you. Made people believe in themselves.

Eamon played hurling for Rosegreen and Sean Treacy’s London and earned respect usually playing at No. 3.

Family was everything.

He was a nephew to our John Cormac.

Dearly missed by his wife Marie, daughters Sophie and Katie, sons David and Aaron, granddaughter Kayleigh, heartbroken parents Mick and Eileen, brothers Liam, Michael and Alan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

If you have any stories or pictures you can share with us, we would love to hear from you. Especially from his time with the Treacy's.
