1 McIlroy: Yay or Nay?
Rory McIlroy (9-1) is by far the most widely selected golfer having been selected by ver 40 per cent of players, so an important decision will be whether or not you side with him.

2 Completing the team
Remember the odds of your three golfers must add up to 125-1 or greater, so take time to consider the makeup of your team. Scottie Sheffler (8-1) is next in the pecking order after McIlroy, while Shane Lowry (40-1) and Seamus Power (125-1) have also proven popular along with Tommy Fleetwood (40-1). The favourite Jon Rahm (7-1) hasn't had a great deal of support, while Collin Morikawa (20-1), Bubba Watson (100-1), Justin Thomas (18-1) and Jordan Spieth (18-1) round out the top ten.

3 Course form
It may help to pick past winners of the tournaments - the last five winners are Patrick Reed (2018, 50-1), Tiger Woods (2019, 40-1), Dustin Johnson (2020, 20-1), Hideki Matsuyama (2021, 33-1) and Scottie Sheffler (2022) - or else golfers who have placed in the top ten in recent years showing they can cope with the challenges of Augusta.

4 Who'll make the cut
It might pay to follow golfers with a good history of making the cut - Tiger Woods has made the cut every year since 1997, while Adam Scott (66-1) has got through every year since 2010.

5 Pick your tiebreak score wisely
If you pick the same three golfers as other people, it could also boil down to the tiebreaker, where you guess the winning score. It may pay to follow the crowd with "-14" the most common score selected so far, and most people picking scores ranging from "-9" to "-17". Or go against the crowd.
